General Manager
Kwasi Poku Attobrah - GENERAL MANAGER

Kwasi Poku Attobrah is an accomplished management professional with over a decade of leadership experience in the cooperative financial sector. His expertise spans operations management, internal auditing, human resource development, and financial oversight. Known for his strategic approach to management, Mr. Attobrah has a proven track record of driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous staff development.


Initially brought on board by the Vicar General of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi as a consultant to help realize the CAKCSOD dream, Mr. Attobrah played a pivotal role in expanding the cooperative’s reach. Under his leadership, CAKCSOD grew from a single branch in 2020 to 19 operational locations, including an ultra-modern head office, within a period of less than five years in the Ashanti region. His leadership has been instrumental in positioning CAKCSOD as a growing force in cooperative banking.


Before assuming his current role, Mr. Attobrah served as Manager at St. Martin De Porres Co-operative Credit Union Ltd., where he successfully managed head office operations, human resources, and compliance. His notable achievements include:

  • Leading Strategic Planning Sessions: Facilitated the union’s strategic planning and budget review, ensuring that goals were aligned with long-term objectives.
  • Improving Operational Efficiency: Streamlined internal audit processes and established robust internal controls, driving operational efficiency across departments.
  • Staff Development: Promoted a culture of continuous learning and internal advancement, empowering staff to develop professionally and align with organizational goals.

Mr. Attobrah holds an MBA in Banking & Finance from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST), and a BBA in Accounting from Christian Service University College. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), with expertise in operations management, internal controls, human resource management, financial oversight, compliance, and strategic planning.


His leadership vision is centred on operational efficiency, strict adherence to internal controls, and staff development. He aims to enhance CAKCSOD’s financial sustainability while fostering an inclusive, performance-driven work culture that aligns with the cooperative’s mission and values. His vision is to make CAKCSOD the number one brand in cooperative banking in the Ashanti region of Ghana.


As a team player with meticulous attention to detail, Mr. Attobrah is known for his problem-solving skills and strong ethical standards. He remains committed to continuous learning and professional development, ensuring that CAKCSOD maintains its competitive edge and remains a trusted partner in the financial sector.


A respected family man, Mr. Attobrah is married with children. He continues to champion the vision of CAKCSOD, leveraging his broad experience to build a robust and future-ready organization.

Head of Accounts and Finance
Aaron Amponsah Doku (Mr.) - Head, ACCOUNTS AND FINANCE

Aaron Amponsah Doku has worked with CAKCSOD as Accountant/Head of Accounts and Finance since 2020. He is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in Accounting and Financial services.


Aaron Amponsah Doku joined CAKCSOD as Accountant and has served in various capacities including, Head of Accounts and Finance, and in other managerial roles. He also has relevant managerial experience in Audit, Governance, Customer Care, Risk Management, Member Care, and Staff performance Management.


Prior to joining CAKCSOD, Aaron Amponsah Doku served as General Manager for Suame Credit Union Limited (Kumasi) for 7 years. His career has included serving as Senior Auditor of Credit Union Association Ghana (Koforidua), a Principal Audit officer of Ghana Post Co. Limited (Kumasi) and a tutor at Only Believe Sec/Tech. school (Kukurantumi).


Aaron Amponsah Doku is an Alumnus of Coventry University (UK), Garden City University College (Kumasi), Koforidua Technical University and Pope John Secondary School and Junior Seminary (Koforidua). He holds MBA in Finance from the Coventry University, UK, BSc. Accounting with Computing from the Garden City University College, Kumasi. He also holds a Higher National Diploma in Accounting from the Koforidua Technical University.

HEAD OF OPERATIONS
Mary Adwoa Saim - Head, OPERATIONS

Mary Adwoa Saim is a high performing individual with demonstrative drive for business growth, risk management, strategic planning, and providing strategic leadership across business units.


With over 5 years experience in the financial service, Adwoa is a proud product of KNUST of which she holds Master of Philosopy in Business Studies, Masters in Logistic and Supply Chain management and a Bachelors degree in Business Adminsitration.


Prior to joining CAKCSOD, Adwoa served as the Administrator of OSIOG Logistics and Services for 4 years where she was in charge of operational strategics, Human Resource and control systems and processes. She is also the director of Success Publiction and Consult. She was also the branch manager of CAKCSOD, Ahinsan branch. Adwoa has an in-depth knowledge and experience in banking industry, in the areas of operations management, supply chain management, logistics management, procurement management, inventory and warehouse management, supply chain risk and sustainability, and strategic management and policy.

HEAD OF LOANS

Josephine Opoku Kwakye (Mrs.) - Head, LOANS

Josephine holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics with Sociology) from University of Ghana, Legon. Josephine joined CAKCSOD as Credit Officer (Loans) in 2020 and has been acting as head of loans since 2020. She became the substantive head of loans in 2021. With over 10 years banking experience 7 years of which has been in Relationship officer, she also has experience as sales executive.


Josephine begun her banking career from Express link Micro Finance (Kumasi) where she was Sales Executive and also worked with uniCredit Ghana Limited,( Savings and Loans) Suame Branch as Relationship Officer. Her career has included serving as Registration Assistant for the National Identification Authority (NIA), and Registration & Exhibition Officer Electoral Commission of Ghana.


Josephine is an old student of Asanteman Secondary School, Kumasi.

HEAD OF I.T.
Paul Donkor (Mr.)- Head, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT).

With over 7 years of professional experience in Information Technology (IT), Paul possesses expertise in IT Systems, Networking, Website and Web application development, Hardware Troubleshooting, and Technical IT Support. Paul is an enthusiastic IT and a Banker, who enjoys being part of, as well as leading, a successful and productive team.


He joined CAKCSOD as an IT support and has served as head of IT since 2022. His notable achievements include:

  • Cable Network and CCTV: Successfully led wired Network and CCTV projects to expand networks and CCTV to our branches.
  • CAKCSOD Website: Developed and deployed our website, giving us the opportunity to offer current information on special events, products and services, loan application forms and announcements to existing and potential members.
  • Improving System Efficiency: Collaborated with staff to resolve hardware, software, and network issues and implementing fixes, resulting in 28% fewer malfunctions.

Paul has had other prior experiences at Old Tafo Municipal Assembly (Kumasi) as Systems and IT Support, Website Developer, Tutor and Assistant Administrator of Communication Information Center (CIC); National Identification Authority (NIA) as Registration Assistant; Ghana Statistical Service as Regional Trainer and Field Supervisor; and Electoral Commission of Ghana as Data Entry Clerk and Verification Officer.


Paul holds a first degree in Information Technology Eduction from University of Education, Winneba - Kumasi (The Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneural Development - AAMUSTED) and other certificates from Google. He is an old student of St. Hubert Seminary SHS (SAHUSS-Kumasi), St. Paul's Catholic Seminary Sowutuom (Accra), and Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome-Italy).


Mr. Paul Donkor is a devout Christian and a married man with children.
